Matt Goihl, CFP®, ADPA®

At the planning level, the thing that really motivates me is helping clients discover planning strategies that provide a real and immediate financial benefit, or result in the ability to achieve a major long-term goal that didn’t otherwise seem possible."

Matt Goihl joined Broadview in early 2008 after working in the banking industry for over 12 years. Matt spends most of his time working directly with clients in a financial planning capacity and also is the Chief Executive Officer for the firm.

Matt obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from UW-Madison and his Master’s degree (finance emphasis) from UW-Whitewater. After working for many years in client-centered roles, Matt developed a passion for helping others achieve their financial goals and obtained his Certified Financial Planner credential to pursue a career in fee-only financial planning.
 
When away from the office, Matt enjoys spending time with friends and family. He loves the outdoors and heads up north to the family cabin when time allows. Matt is a fan of 70’s and 80’s music, plays the piano for enjoyment, and is an avid runner (okay, maybe more of a fair-weather runner). When Wisconsin reaches its coldest point in the winter, he will likely be away for at least a little while enjoying a warmer climate.
